Md. Rizwanul Islam

Professor Islam possesses extensive knowledge about company law. He has specific expertise on laws related to international trade practice. Moreover, his scholarly contributions also expand to other areas of law such as intellectual property rights, constitutional law and public international law. He is a Professor of Law and currently serving as the Chair of the Department of Law at North South University. He obtained his LL.B. from University of Dhaka. Then he pursued a Master degree at National University Singapore, following which he obtained his Ph.D. from Macquarie University, Australia. He continued on a teaching career in Australia. Professor Islam is actively involved in national and international legal scholarship and often receives invitations to contribute from internationally renowned scholars and publishers. He has won several awards for his research works. Professor Islam sometimes writes columns for national and international newspapers on various legal topics.
